Data Platform Engineer

Your future starts here # We are developing a modern data platform for a bank in Switzerland based on AWS, Snowflake and Atlan. You ensure the stable, correct and efficient operation and keep our data processes running reliably. In doing so, you automate workflows, ensure transparency and continuously improve quality and performance. Together with the team and the customer, you work in a solution-oriented and targeted manner. • Operation and further development of the data platform in the cloud • Compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for data loading processes and data pipelines • Responsibility for the daily loading and processing of data from the core banking system and around 20 other source systems • Achievement of high stability and efficiency through automation and cost optimization Your skills ## • Degree (ETH/Uni/FH/HF) in computer science or business informatics or equivalent degree • Several years of experience in operating data platforms as well as in operational and deployment processes • Very good knowledge of cloud services, databases and data processing as well as automation and infrastructure as code • Experience with data integration, ETL and ELT as well as orchestration tools • Structured, responsible and solution-oriented way of working • Enjoyment of teamwork and interaction with customers • Familiarity with monitoring and incident management, you act reliably even under time pressure • Very good German and good English, French is an advantage With us, you have the opportunity to work in one of our offices in Switzerland or in a home office.
