Your responsibility
As Vice Principal, in cooperation with the two Co-Principals and three Vice Principals, you lead the school operationally as well as in pedagogical, personnel, and organizational aspects.
You share responsibility for the overall school development and undertake leadership tasks (e.g., through performance appraisals).
You are responsible for the ICT of the school.
You take over the class supervision of two year groups in the Matura department (absences, leaves of absence, disciplinary matters, individual measures) and ensure successful relationships between the students and the class and subject teachers.
You plan and organize the Matura examinations.

You take on leadership responsibility and are at the same time a team player. You are flexible and resilient.
You possess high presentation competence, maintain appreciative communication, and encounter people with openness and empathy.
You work in a solution-oriented manner and are happy to face complex organizational tasks.
You have a pedagogical education and teaching experience at the secondary level II.
You are familiar with contemporary pedagogical developments in the field of gymnasiums and are committed to innovative education.
You bring experience in leading projects and ideally already have leadership experience. You have completed school management training or are willing to complete it.

Gymnasium Liestal
Approximately 190 teachers teach at Gymnasium Liestal (Matura department and FMS). The goal of the demanding instruction is to bring the around 1250 students to university entrance qualification or to enable them to undertake a demanding vocational training.
