In this responsible role, you ensure the professional processing of medical devices and flexible endoscopes, thereby making an important contribution to patient safety.

YOUR TASKS ##

• Proper and professional processing of medical devices according to recognized quality standards
• Proper and professional processing of flexible endoscopes including cleaning, disinfection, functional testing, care, and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with sterilization procedures as well as carrying out the necessary controls and releases
• Assembly of instrument trays, sets, and individual materials as well as their care and maintenance
• Cleaning, operation, and monitoring of cleaning and disinfection devices, sterilizers, and other technical devices of the AEMP
• Co-responsibility for compliance with all relevant standards, laws, and guidelines as well as for administrative work within the scope of the prescribed documentation
• Responsibility for the management and storage of sterile goods as well as for the securing, promotion, and verification of work quality

YOUR PROFILE ##

• Completed training as Medizinproduktetechnologin / Medizinproduktetechnologe EFZ (MPT) or as Technische Sterilisationsassistentin / Technischer Sterilisationsassistent with Fachkunde I or II; several years of professional experience in an AEMP
• Completed further training in the processing of flexible endoscopes is an advantage
• Independent, self-responsible, and efficient way of working, strong quality awareness as well as technical understanding
• Good MS Office user knowledge; experience with an electronic sterile goods management system (EuroSDS) is an advantage
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• Good German language skills at B2 level
