FMEA Specialist (w/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Leading and ensuring the successful global implementation and application of FMEA processes in accordance with VDA standards.
• Moderation and execution of Design and Process FMEA workshops as well as risk analyses.
• Continuous improvement and optimization of internal risk analysis processes and methods.
• Conducting training on FMEA and quality methods for employees worldwide.
• Supporting knowledge transfer initiatives as well as promoting the exchange of best practices within the organization.
• Presentation of FMEA methods and results to customers and external stakeholders.
• Building and maintaining effective cross-functional collaboration to support quality and risk management goals.
• Supporting the quality organization during internal and external audits.
• Participating in the development and implementation of new international quality methods and strategies.
• Monitoring FMEA-relevant KPIs as well as definition, tracking, and implementation of corrective actions to increase performance and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Qualification as an FMEA specialist.
• Business fluent German and English skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Sound experience with FMEA methods, processes, and their systematic application.
• In-depth experience with quality processes and mechanisms in the environment of high-tech components.
• Knowledge of the integration of FMEA methods into organizational processes.
• Good understanding of organizational and technical processes.
• Strong analytical and structured way of working.
• Excellent presentation, moderation, communication, and persuasion skills.
• Ability to work successfully in international teams as well as in a matrix organization.
• Enthusiasm for FMEA and continuous quality improvement.
• Basic knowledge of VDA and ISO requirements.
• Experience with FMEA software is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, including customer requirements and relevant manufacturing processes, is desirable.
• Market knowledge in the semiconductor environment is considered an additional advantage.
