Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will develop and operate data pipelines and scalable data products for decision-making processes in the energy sector.

Tasks

• Development and operation of data pipelines and scalable data products on an Enterprise Analytics Platform with Snowflake
• Close cooperation with Data Scientists and Data Analysts in the exploration of data sources
• Conception of stable integration processes and transformation of various formats into sustainable models
• Driving CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and automation to ensure quality and scalability
• Construction of robust data models and clean data preparation for consistent data views

Profile

• Independent and proactive working with a strong team orientation
• Several years of experience in development with Python, Java and TypeScript as well as corresponding frameworks
• Proficient use of SQL, Data Modelling and ETL or ELT
• Practice with DevOps, CI/CD and containerization with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Advantageous: experience with Snowflake, Tekton, ArgoCD and Git as well as geodata and data visualization
• German and English at least at level C1
