On behalf of our client, a company in the environmental and waste disposal services sector, we are looking for an experienced person to temporarily strengthen the laboratory. In this versatile role, you will analyse various material and water samples, providing important foundations for their safe utilisation and disposal.

Chemical Laboratory Technician: Analytics (limited to 5-6 months) (m/f/d)

Location: Olten region

Tasks ###

1. Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of waste materials according to the analysis plan
2. Perform sample analyses for quotations as well as process simulations
3. Record, check and release analysis results in the existing ERP system
4. Maintenance and calibration control of all laboratory testing equipment according to ISO 9001
5. Sampling of wastewater and conducting analyses for self-declaration of discharge values
6. Archiving of laboratory retained samples and ensuring traceable documentation
7. Compliance with relevant quality, safety and laboratory regulations

Qualifications ###

1. Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician specialising in analytical chemistry or solid practical experience in the laboratory field
2. Ideally experience with GC, ICP-OES and XRF analyses
3. Precise, independent and systematic working style
4. Good coordination skills and strong sense of responsibility
5. Confident use of MS Office
6. Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage
