Domain Engineer - Occupational Safety

You will be responsible for supporting one or more company activities in the implementation and monitoring of SIG's health and safety policy. As a Domain Engineer - Occupational Safety, you will advise Management, hierarchy, and employees on occupational safety and health protection issues. You will carry out risk assessments by unit, in collaboration with line managers and after consulting the teams. You will actively contribute to the evolution of the health and safety management system.

As part of your role, you will notably be in charge of :

• Ensuring the implementation of occupational health and safety according to the legal bases in force (CFST 6508) ;
• Animating the health and safety management system in the concerned direction(s) among managers and teams and guaranteeing its certification ;
• Supporting and providing safety expertise during the design and construction of works or network projects, from preliminary study to completion ;
• Implementing fire quality assurance in accordance with AEAI requirements ;
• Ensuring relations with the competent authorities as well as with internal and external stakeholders.

You demonstrate autonomy and initiative, while respecting the deadlines and responsibilities entrusted to you. You possess a keen sense of rigor and a capacity to work in a team, to arbitrate and to convince. Comfortable in communication, you know how to negotiate with various interlocutors and manage a budget.

You possess solid technical knowledge, notably in reading plans and technical diagrams, as well as skills in construction project management. You master risk and accident analysis methodologies and have expertise in different areas of safety (site coordination, work at height, confined spaces, ATEX), with a particular specialization regarding AEAI. Good knowledge of management systems and/or SIG's core businesses will be an asset.

This position requires a driver's license as well as one or more CFST/AEAI certificates.

You hold a HES engineering degree, supplemented by a postgraduate training as a CFST safety engineer or an occupational safety engineer degree recognized by the CFST. You have 5 to 10 years of experience in project management. Experience in the field of training, AEAI (expert or specialist) and/or site safety coordination (civil engineering, excavations) constitutes an asset.
