Criminal analysis is an established and versatile partner in large and complex investigation cases. It creates systematicity and overview, analyzes data, visualizes, and brings patterns, trends, and connections to light. In this way, it shapes procedures in investigations, in terms of both tactics and case-specific aspects, and brings law enforcement onto the track to success. In this exciting environment, we are filling a vacant internship position.

Your tasks

• Support in the daily tasks of criminal analysis
• Recording, mutating, analyzing, and preparing criminal police data and timely dissemination of findings
• Assessing the current crime situation in the Canton of Bern
• Further developing products of tactical criminal analysis

Your profile

• Completed criminal science or equivalent university education at Master's level, or shortly before completion
• Openness to new professional experiences and a sense for the situation in which you can contribute your know-how
• Analytical thinking skills, quick comprehension, and technical flair
• Team-oriented way of working paired with a high degree of independence and flexibility
• French language skills -- for working in a bilingual police corps -- are an advantage
