Structural Engineering Founded in 1923 as a family business, +Frey AG is today a leading national and international provider of overhead contact line systems for public transport. The development, planning, construction, and maintenance of these systems are our core competencies. We also use this comprehensive know-how to realize compact charging stations for battery trains and to integrate them optimally into the existing infrastructure. Our "Development / Construction" team supports the other business units with technical matters, for example, in the construction of special components as well as in static and dynamic calculations. Furthermore, we develop new solution approaches for overhead contact line systems in this area. The Development & Construction team in Bern needs reinforcement. Structural Engineering Tasks Creation, collaboration, and processing of static calculations for a wide variety of structural types in overhead contact line construction as well as in development projects in an international environment Assumption of the role as a specialist for static issues in the field of overhead contact line construction Support of project teams with general static topics as well as accompaniment of external static projects Creation of verifiable static proofs of load-bearing capacity and serviceability Verification of relevant boundary conditions such as standards and technical specifications Creation and maintenance of static documentation and IT tools Requirements Completed Bachelor's degree as a civil engineer Several years of professional experience in comparable activities Experience in using FE programs Very good German and English skills, good French skills an advantage Independent, structured way of working with a high sense of responsibility Team player with strong communication skills and resilience Offer Overhead contact lines and everything that goes with them, that is our world.
