Airspace Surveillance Systems Engineer

Dübendorf (and home office) | 80-100% (jobsharing possible) What you can contribute • Share responsibility for the current and future airspace surveillance systems of the Swiss Army • Guarantee stable, safe, and sustainable operation through technical expertise and continuous development • Ensure daily responsibility for system operation, including continuous monitoring, initial analysis, and troubleshooting coordination • Advise and assist internal customers in analyzing and resolving failures • Defend operational interests in projects and support them at all stages • Provide on-call service approximately every 5 weeks, for one week each time <br /> What makes you unique • Degree from a technical college (ES) or a university of applied sciences (HES) in the fields of computer science, telematics, electronics, or equivalent training with experience in IT • Great mental agility and a keen sense of analysis • Ability to design, develop, and implement new solutions, combined with deep and interdisciplinary specialized knowledge • Team-oriented, helpful, and committed personality, with a structured and autonomous working method, as well as great dedication to the task • If possible, experience in air traffic control and VoIP or HF radio communication <br /> In a few words Are you looking for a challenge to take on in the unique ICT environment of the Swiss Army?
