Around 380 employees work in the city administration, providing comprehensive services to the population daily. The Asylum and Residential Support of the city of Wädenswil belongs to the Social Department and is part of the Social Services Office. The Asylum and Residential Support is responsible for the comprehensive case management of persons from the asylum sector. In addition, it supports people who are threatened by or affected by homelessness. To complement our team, we are looking for an Employee Asylum and Residential Support, 60 %, initially fixed-term for 1 year, by arrangement. Your areas of action include * technical co-responsibility for our accommodations * organization and coordination of appointments with tradespeople * preparation and setting up of living space * management of our warehouse as well as the provision of materials and equipment * minor repair, maintenance, and restoration work * support with technical and practical questions regarding our accommodations * support and promotion of clients in acquiring practical skills What you bring * professional experience in facility management, technical maintenance, or as an all-rounder * technical flair and knowledge in the field of building technology * independent, reliable, and responsible way of working * physical and psychological resilience * organizational skills and flexibility * openness and respect towards people with different cultural backgrounds * appreciative and patient handling of people in difficult life situations * driver's license Cat.
