YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Ensuring timely material availability for production by monitoring and controlling delivery dates and order quantities
• Support and further development of the assigned product groups and suppliers with regard to delivery reliability and security of supply
• Creation, maintenance, and monitoring of delivery schedules as well as consistent master data and schedule maintenance in the ERP system
• Analysis and monitoring of inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
• Active implementation of supply processes as well as the administration and inventory of consignment stocks
• Participation in supplier reviews as well as in internal Shop Floor Meetings
• Participation in the continuous optimization of purchasing processes, workflows, and efficiency increases

YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Completed vocational training, ideally with a commercial background or corresponding further training (e.g., Technical Clerk or similar)
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing; English skills are an advantage
• Enjoyment of administrative activities as well as an independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Strong communication personality with a confident appearance and assertiveness in dealing with suppliers and internal contact persons
• High customer and service orientation as well as strong teamwork skills
• Good user knowledge in Microsoft Office as well as experience in dealing with ERP systems (ideally Pro@)

Become part of our team! Our competence center for bogies is located in Winterthur, while our location in Biel includes a steel foundry. Both locations are strategically important parts of the Components division and contribute decisively to the manufacturing of our high-quality rail vehicles.
