The Ombudsman of private insurance and of Suva intervenes in an independent, neutral, and free manner in case of problems and conflicts regarding insurance with the private insurers affiliated with it, Suva, and other public law accident insurers.

We contribute to compensating for the imbalance of knowledge and power between the insured and the insurance companies, and to guaranteeing access to justice for insured persons who are not already represented by a legal professional.

Your tasks in this function

• Process legal files and requests (in writing and by telephone) in French
• Conduct negotiations in French; proficiency in English is an asset
• Evaluate and clarify complex legal issues in all insurance branches

What you bring to this function

• Swiss university degree in law accompanied by the bar exam
• Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in insurance law, ideally with solid practice in legal assessment and claims follow-up in the fields of LCA (life and non-life) and LAA
• An autonomous, conscientious, and responsible way of working, combined with a strong team spirit
• Negotiation skills, empathy, and confidence in delicate interview situations
• High motivation and good resistance to stress. A marked sense of service. Ease of expression in French in exchanges with various target audiences
