Head of Product Management & Sales Support (m/f/d)

Our client is an established Swiss trading company that has been importing, distributing, and maintaining machines and systems for wood and plastic processing for over 45 years. From the initial contact to the service case, the company accompanies its clientele personally and reliably throughout Switzerland, with short distances and a clear, holistic mindset. A personality is sought to lead the sales support department who understands technology, leads people, and thinks ahead regarding products.

Your tasks

• Leading the team in sales support with overall responsibility for the product range
• Preparing key figures and reports as a basis for decision-making for the management
• Planning and coordinating training sessions so that the sales team knows the products optimally
• Accompanying the clientele as a competent contact person for questions regarding the range
• Observing market trends and checking new products and agencies for the range
• Further developing the product strategy with a view to future market requirements
• Shaping a product range that meets the needs of the market and the clientele

Your profile

• Completed basic technical training (EFZ) in the wood sector, supplemented by further education
• Experience in personnel management and a confident, clear communication style
• Strong sense of market developments and entrepreneurial thinking in everyday life
• Practical experience in the establishment and further development of product ranges
• Independent, systematic way of working with an eye for detail
• German: Stylistically proficient (C2)
