To strengthen our Legal & Regulatory department, we are looking for a versatile and business-oriented professional Legal Counsel Job Summary We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal & Regulatory team and provide practical and business-oriented legal support in a wide range of areas, including commercial contracts, telecommunications law, data protection and AI compliance, employment law, construction and environmental law, corporate law, unfair competition law, national security law, and regulatory affairs. This is a generalist, practical role, suited to a lawyer who enjoys variety and wishes to acquire broad internal experience. The candidate will interact daily with internal stakeholders from different departments, senior executives, authorities, and external institutions, and will contribute to the management of cross-functional projects within the organization. Reporting to the company's Legal Director, this position requires a pragmatic, practical, and solution-oriented lawyer, with a genuine interest in technology and telecommunications. Key Responsibilities • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and telecommunications contracts, particularly in the areas of procurement, distribution, marketing, and B2B • Manage contracts throughout their life cycle, from negotiation to ongoing administration • Manage public and private law disputes • Draft, review, and maintain corporate governance documentation • Provide general legal support and practical advice to all departments • Interact daily with internal stakeholders, senior executives, authorities, and external institutions • Participate in, contribute to, and assist in managing cross-functional projects • Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments for telecommunications and translate them into practical advice for internal stakeholders Profile • MLaw / lic. iur. from a Swiss university; LL.M. and/or bar exam • Several years of post-qualification legal experience, acquired in a company and/or a law firm • Regulatory experience is considered a major asset • Desire to explore and learn in various areas of law • Technological inclination, with a genuine interest in IT and telecommunications • Team player, open-minded, communicative, and collaborative • Autonomous, practical, pragmatic, and solution-oriented Languages • Mandatory proficiency in German and English • French is considered a major asset What we offer • An interesting and diverse field of activity in a dynamic, international, and entrepreneurial working environment with a flat hierarchy and short decision-making processes • A unique start-up corporate culture where proactivity and personal commitment are highly valued • A flexible workplace in Zurich, Bienne, or Lausanne (Prilly - Malley)
