Head of Master Data Management Engineering

You lead the global Master Data Management organization in engineering and are responsible for the company-wide harmonization of master data and processes. The role combines leadership responsibility with the strategic further development of the data landscape.

Tasks

• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the global MDM organization in engineering
• Definition and implementation of the company-wide MDM strategy
• Establishment of company-wide MDM governance
• Harmonization of engineering master data and data models across all locations
• Collaboration with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders on strategic initiatives
• Execution of data analyses to identify optimization potential
• Participation in the development of evaluations and automations

Profile

• Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, or comparable
• Several years of leadership experience in international organizations
• Experience in building or further developing MDM organizations
• Knowledge of engineering master data, data governance, and data quality management
• Understanding of engineering processes and their integration into PLM/ERP systems
• Knowledge of SQL, reporting, or automation tools, ideally Python or VBA
• Business fluent German and English skills
