Payroll Accountant with development prospects 90-100%

Is payroll accounting more than just numbers and settlements for you? Would you like to contribute your expertise and develop step by step into the deputy position of our Head of Finance? Then we look forward to getting to know you. To complement our team, we are looking for a numerically proficient specialist who wants to develop in a meaningful environment, starting 1 November 2026 or by arrangement. Your tasks: • Independent processing of the entire payroll accounting including year-end closing for approx. 650 employees • Responsibility for all social security and withholding tax settlements • Maintenance of personnel and salary data in the personnel master data system Abacus • Advising our employees on all matters regarding wages and social insurance • Contact person for social insurance • Creation of evaluations, key figures and statistics • Collaboration in the further development of our payroll processes and the salary system together with the team • Collaboration in financial accounting as well as in budget and closing work • Taking over the deputy position of the Head of Finance after targeted training You bring with you: • Further training in the field of social insurance, ideally with a federal diploma (or comparable training) • Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting and social insurance • Very good user knowledge in Abacus and MS Office products • Careful, structured, solution-oriented and reliable way of working • Joy in taking on responsibility and developing professionally • Positive, helpful and service-oriented attitude as well as a portion of pragmatism
