Team Leader Youth Work lower Furttal

As of 1 December 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed specialist who wants to take on responsibility and actively help shape the youth work in Furttal. Die Plattform Glattal is a specialist in social services and integration and operates diverse offerings in the areas of labor integration, youth work, housing, and counseling.

The youth work of Plattform Glattal is present in the youth center, in public spaces, and in the municipalities. We create spaces where young people can meet, exchange ideas, and realize their own ideas. Together with them, we develop offerings and projects and strengthen their participation in community life.

Your tasks ###

• Professional and organizational management of a small team of youth workers, especially youth workers in training
• Planning, coordination, and further development of the youth work offerings in Furttal
• Presence work in the youth center as well as in public spaces
• Design and support of socio-cultural projects and participation processes with young people
• Networking and cooperation with schools, authorities, associations, and other local partners
• Participation in internal, local, and regional exchange and specialist committees
• Practical training of the two employees on-site
• Administrative and organizational tasks within the scope of team leadership
• Your working hours are based on the youth work offerings and take place from Wednesday to Friday. For individual events, occasional shifts on weekend days are also possible.

Your profile ###

• Diploma in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Socio-cultural Animation, or Community Animation (FH/HF)
• Professional experience in open and/or outreach youth work
• Ideally initial leadership experience or interest in a leadership role
• Independent, resilient, and well-organized personality
• Confident appearance as well as enjoyment in working with schools, authorities, and local partners
• Routine in administrative tasks (reporting, protocols, budget responsibility)
• Creativity, humor, and enjoyment of development and design processes
