Profile: ##

The intensive care department of the Ospedale Regionale di Lugano is the only department in the Canton recognized by the ISFM as a category Au training center.

Indispensable requirements: ##

  • degree/diploma in medicine and specialization in intensive care or equivalent title (for Italy -specialization in Anesthesia and Resuscitation-).

For doctors with foreign titles: mandatory recognition by the federal commission for medical professions MEBEKO and relative registration in MedReg is required before the start of activity

  • proven knowledge of the Italian language
  • (required level at least B2) with relative registration in MedReg before the start of activity, desirable knowledge of the other national languages and English
  • work experience in intensive care departments
  • autonomy in the management of the critical patient in the intensive care unit
