As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for a committed and down-to-earth personality as Municipal Administrator (80-100%). In this varied activity, you will undertake the technical, personnel and administrative leadership of the municipal administration. Together with your team (total 20 employees), you ensure a technically competent implementation of the legal framework and decisions of the municipal council or the Hölstein sovereign (from September 2026 as part of an administrative cooperation, also those of the municipality of Lampenberg). In everyday life, you are a sparring partner for your employees, the staff office for the municipal council and the municipal assembly, as well as the implementer of the diverse projects. As a modern service provider, you provide all internal and external services cost-effectively and performance-oriented. In order for you to succeed in this exciting hub function, organizational and leadership strength, high social competence, winning communication skills as well as high flexibility are required. Formally, we expect initial leadership experience, solid commercial knowledge, higher continuing education (HF, FH and/or a diploma as a municipal administrator), sound IT knowledge as well as confident German skills in speaking and writing.
