Tasks ##

• Processing of national and international data protection inquiries as well as ensuring compliance with data protection law requirements
• Responsibility for maintaining the record of processing activities according to DSG as well as supporting departments in the documentation of processing activities
• Examination and support of data protection law processes, in particular data processing agreements (DPA and Master DPA) and data protection impact assessments (DSFA)
• Identification, assessment, monitoring of data protection and compliance risks as well as participation in the definition and implementation of suitable measures
• Consulting and supporting AI use cases taking into account legal, data protection and compliance-relevant requirements
• Consulting and supporting national and international departments on selected legal issues for Switzerland (e.g. in the area of contract law, non-disclosure agreements, compliance clauses as well as antitrust and competition law)
• Support in the creation, analysis and further development of data protection reporting
• Taking over the deputy role of the Data Protection Coordinator (DPC) Switzerland during absences and support with operational data protection topics

Profile ##

• Completed studies in law, economics or a comparable qualification as well as further training in data protection (e.g. CAS Datenschutz, Datenschutzberater/in, Data Protection Officer or comparable qualification)
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in data protection, compliance or legal area, ideally with practical experience in data protection law issues.
• Very good German and very good English skills, French and other languages are an advantage
• Very good MS Office and PowerPoint skills as well as
• Interest in AI technologies (Artificial Intelligence) and their use in the corporate environment; initial practical experience is an advantage
• Analytical thinking skills with strong consulting and negotiation competence
• Clear, target-group-oriented communication (verbal and graphic)
