Training to become a Dipl. Pflegefachperson depending on previous education 2-3 years
Responsibility for the care and support of people in different stages of life.
Technical responsibility and engagement with the nursing process
Accompanying patients and their relatives in difficult situations
Close cooperation within and across interdisciplinary teams

Sense of responsibility, physical as well as mental resilience and quick comprehension
Service orientation, patience and sensitivity in dealing with people
Enjoyment of nursing as well as medical-technical activities and teamwork
Good manners as well as adaptability and communication skills
Completed vocational training with a federal certificate of proficiency (advantageous Fachperson Gesundheit EFZ) or a school completion FMS or Matura
Passed or ongoing aptitude test (the form can be downloaded directly at bz-gs.ch)

2- or 3-year full-time training as Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF (shortened course of study possible as Fachperson Gesundheit EFZ)
