The Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Hohenrain is a competence center for the training, promotion, and care of around 200 children and adolescents in the areas of cognitive development and language development in teaching, social pedagogy, and therapy from the basic level up to the age of 18. Around 300 employees from different professions in the areas of teaching, social pedagogy, therapy, care, housekeeping, technical services, and administration contribute to this.

At HPZH, we accompany and promote children and adolescents with impairments. Our Central Services are the support area for school, living, and therapy and ensure that everyday life runs smoothly.

Your tasks

• According to the work schedule, you will undertake the daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning work in classrooms and side rooms and support the basic cleaning during school holidays.
• Through professional cleaning and care, you ensure cleanliness and hygiene and contribute to maintaining the value of our premises and infrastructure.
• You operate and maintain the cleaning machines and devices and use cleaning agents appropriately.
• You instruct employees with impairments patiently and correctly from an agogic perspective, respond to their needs, and individually adjust the working pace.
• In addition, you contribute to ensuring occupational safety and health protection in accordance with the EKAS guidelines.

Your profile

• You have completed training as a cleaning specialist or housekeeping specialist as well as several years of professional experience in professional cleaning.
• You present yourself in a well-groomed and friendly manner, have a high awareness of hygiene, and are physically resilient.
• You work independently, precisely, and in a structured manner, take on high personal responsibility, and work efficiently.
• Your German skills are very good in speaking and writing, you have good PC skills as well as teamwork, reliability, and commitment.
• Dealing with people with impairments gives you joy and you encounter them with empathy - further training in agogics is also an advantage.
