Dübendorf (and home office) | 80-100% (jobsharing possible) Your contribution • Manage, maintain and further develop from a strategic perspective the main applications of mission-critical military Command & Control (C2) systems, intended for the surveillance of Swiss airspace, as well as the related user software • Collect user requirements, taking into account current regulatory criteria (OFAC, MAA, EUROCONTROL etc.), translate them into technical solutions and develop architectures, designs, concepts and specifications • Further develop, parameterize and optimize the Integrated Network of airspace surveillance systems, while simultaneously ensuring high availability and reliable and stable operation • Contribute to the planning, procurement, integration, verification and validation as well as the deployment of complex software and system architectures in close collaboration with users and partners (armasuisse, Air Force, skyguide and private companies) • Elaborate the technical and scientific bases for the further development of airspace surveillance and provide advice to users and decision-makers regarding the optimal use and further development of the systems • Follow scientific and technological developments; initiate, coordinate and direct research and development projects in collaboration with universities and partner organizations <br /> What distinguishes you • University diploma from a university school (SUP, UNI, PF), in physics, electrical engineering or an equivalent field with practical experience in software development and architecture • In-depth knowledge in the analysis, coding and programming of real-time systems, as well as in the integration of complex systems • Knowledge of data fusion and the development of scalable software solutions for distributed systems, as well as practical experience with network and communication technologies • Experience in managing complex software projects in a corporate and security-critical environment • Willingness to contribute actively and to transmit knowledge as well as to achieve ambitious goals together efficiently • Good active knowledge in at least one second official language as well as excellent knowledge of English and, possibly, passive knowledge of a third official language <br /> In summary We welcome you to Comando Ciber.
