For our clients – various joinery, window construction, and interior design companies from the Canton of Luzern – we are constantly looking for trained carpenters EFZ, carpenter practitioners EBA, as well as experienced employees from wood processing.

Job Description

Possible areas of assignment:

Furniture manufacturing and workshop:

• Manufacture of individual furniture
• Production of kitchens, cabinets, doors, and built-in furniture
• Working according to plans, technical drawings, and parts lists
• Operation of conventional woodworking machines
• Collaboration on CNC systems
• Veneering, surface, and finishing work

Interior design and shopfitting:

• Manufacture and installation of interior designs
• Installation of shop fittings
• Installation of kitchens, furniture, doors, and cabinets
• Installation of wall and ceiling coverings
• Adjustment and finishing work on the construction site
• Working according to installation plans and technical drawings

Window production

• Manufacture of wood and wood-metal windows
• Processing and assembly of window frames and window sashes
• Operation of production and woodworking machines
• Installation of fittings and window components
• Glazing, sealing, and quality work
• Preparation of windows for delivery

Window installation:

• Installation and dismantling of windows and doors
• Window installation on new builds and renovations
• Aligning and fastening window elements
• Sealing, connection, and insulation work
• Service, repair, and maintenance work
• Assignments on various construction sites

Requirement Profile

• Training as a carpenter EFZ or carpenter practitioner EBA
• Alternatively, several years of professional experience in wood processing
• Professional experience as a furniture carpenter, bench carpenter, interior design carpenter, installation carpenter, or window builder is an advantage
• Motivated recent graduates are also very welcome
• Manual dexterity and technical understanding
• Enjoyment of precise work with wood and other materials
• Reliable, careful, and motivated way of working
• Ability to work in a team and punctuality
• Good German language skills
• Permanent residence or already existing own accommodation in Central Switzerland
• Driving license category B and own car are an advantage depending on the assignment
• For installation assignments, readiness for changing construction sites
