Your role You take care of all IBM i topics for our clients. As a communicative team player, you seek exchange within Sharp DX and with clients in order to offer them the best services. You think "outside the box" and thanks to your speed of understanding, you identify connections during problems to create sustainable solutions and improvements. Your main tasks • Operation and maintenance of our IBM i Power Cloud • Implementation of client projects in the IBM i environment • Support to clients via remote support and on-site • Pre-sales support • Availability for on-call duties, night interventions and weekends Your strengths and knowledge • You have long experience with the IBM i operating system as well as in the implementation of IBM i projects with virtualization and storage connection. • You possess excellent knowledge in CL, BRMS and SQL DB2 programming. • You have experience with HMC and PowerVM. • IBM i Power certifications are desired. • Knowledge in WebSphere MQ, high availability solutions (iTera/Mimix), SAN networks as well as IBM storage is an advantage. • Experience in programming on IBM i, for example with RPG, Cobol or Java, is a plus. • You are fluent in German as well as English.
