The contribution you can make

• Be responsible for the assignment of material for the relevant repair and overhaul as well as verify the status and functioning of the material and ammunition stored on the surface and in the underground
• Instruct the troops and specialists on the handling and maintenance of the material, mainly in German
• Serve as an interlocutor for customers / the management of the troop artisans
• Be responsible for the professional management of the work, the conduct of persons on the occasion of the delivery and collection of army material and troop ammunition in compliance with the fixed deadlines
• Draw up an inventory of the material and ammunition as well as store, withdraw, and transfer them professionally; prepare the material according to the current regulations and instructions

What distinguishes you

• Vocational training as a logistics clerk CFC
• Strong sense of service in contact and consultation with customers, for example with the troops
• Rapid and conscientious way of working, organizational skills to guarantee impeccable process execution
• Driving licenses for categories B, BE C (CE and F); good knowledge of SAP

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistical services in favor of the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
