The cantonal tax office, together with the communal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the communes. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are engaged at the location in Zürich Altstetten. With the project "Gemeinsame IT 2032", the cantonal tax office is creating a modern and unified IT landscape for the tax system of the canton and the 160 communes. This requires exceptional minds for the conception and implementation of these important IT transformations. As an Enterprise Architect with a focus on IT architecture, you will take on tasks with sustainable significance for the canton of Zürich in this newly created position. Our services support over 2'500 communal and cantonal employees daily, as well as over one million private individuals and companies annually in tax declaration. Your tasks ### • In this key position, you will be responsible, together with the Business Architect, for the company-wide architecture of the tax office and ensure the alignment of business and IT. • In addition to your work on the project "Gemeinsame IT 2032", you will be responsible for the conception and implementation of the IT architecture for the approximately 90 specialist applications currently operated in various computer centers. • You will design our architecture processes, develop concrete target architectures, and ensure the long-term continuity of the architecture. • You will methodically and practically convey architectural topics to your colleagues. • You will communicate with the various departments within the tax office and at different levels up to management. Your profile ### • You have several years of experience as an Enterprise Architect with a focus on IT; ideally using the TOGAF® framework. • You have a university degree in the field of computer science, management, business administration, or equivalent. • You are able to structure and systematically transfer complex issues into practical solutions. • Your initiative, service orientation, and stylistically correct German language skills in word and writing complete your profile.
