For our long-standing client, F. Hoffmann - La Roche AG in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for a Procurement Manager ======================= Background: Within the Global Procurement Engineering Switzerland department, you will support CAPEX projects in the procurement of engineering, planning, and construction services as well as production and automation systems. You will be in close contact with global and regional procurement managers, local project teams, and their suppliers. In close coordination with the respective project teams, whom you will advise on all procurement-relevant issues, you will independently handle the procurement processes based on the valid procurement strategy until the end of the contract. Tasks & Responsibilities: • Collaboration on preliminary inquiries, in close coordination with the engineering team • Ensuring all internal and external award law requirements • Participation in the creation and maintenance of a central procurement plan • Compilation and dispatch of tenders • Compilation of received offers for evaluation in the project teams • Evaluation of offers and preparation of a well-founded award proposal for the award decision in the project team • Conducting and documenting clarification meetings and negotiations • Creation of contracts and orders • Tracking expediting tasks in the project • Collaboration with controlling on the topic of change management, and identifying and realizing savings potential • Defect and warranty management, close-out process Must Haves: • A successfully completed commercial or technical degree or a commercial or technical apprenticeship followed by further training to become a federally certified procurement specialist/purchasing manager • At least 5 years of professional experience in procurement, ideally of engineering, planning, and construction services as well as production and automation systems • Business fluent German and English skills • Very good MS Office skills as well as experience with Google Tools and affinity for dealing with new digital systems, especially with AI-based technologies • Detail-oriented in dealing with key figures and information filing in general • Good organizational, analytical, and conceptual skills • Good advisory competence and strong negotiation skills • Structured, careful, and independent way of working • Agility, resilience, and teamwork complete your profile • Good communication skills, proactive communication within the project team and with stakeholders What is offered to you: • A chance to participate in one of the most significant pharmaceutical companies in the world • Modern campus with many green spaces and meeting zones • Varied activity profile • Further training opportunities through temptraining • Collaboration in a dynamic and motivated team You are welcome to send your complete application documents to Frau Diana Afonso.
