As Syntegon Technology Services AG in Beringen, we are the central service center of the Syntegon group. Our teams of experts, consisting of approximately 200 employees, ensure maximum availability and performance of our installations and systems worldwide - from inspection and maintenance to the rapid supply of spare parts and process optimization.

What awaits you:

In this position, you are responsible for the overall management of our application environments. These include both software development domains (automation) as well as version control. Typical examples would be Rockwell Automation, Copadata Zenon, Beckhoff TwinCAT or Perforce Helix Core.

• You ensure stable, efficient and user-friendly operation of applications by regularly applying and deploying updates and patches. This also includes the creation and maintenance of documentation.
• Additionally, you act as a competent interlocutor in global level 2 support and collaborate closely with internal departments, IT as well as with external partners and service providers.
• You analyze requirements, develop technical solutions and independently implement changes and optimizations in order to promote digitalization and the efficiency of engineering processes.
• In license management, you identify needs and derive strategic measures to optimize license use and management.
• Finally, you supervise a global structure of key users and establish common processes.

What you bring:

• You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering and automation or a similar field. Alternatively, you possess an equivalent professional training with relevant practical experience.
• You have experience in the management and administration of software applications, ideally in a technical/engineering environment.
• Deep knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks and virtualization.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g. Git), fault analysis, troubleshooting and end-user support - in person and remotely.
• Solid knowledge in software distribution and automation, particularly with PowerShell (Intune).
• You possess strong analytical skills as well as very good command of German and English.
• Your communication ease as well as a structured working method with a strong sense of service characterize you.
• Excellent command of German and English, both oral and written, completes your profile.
