Le Centre de santé cantonal d'Appenzell ensures high-quality healthcare and support for the elderly people of Appenzell and the population of Innerrhoden. An important aspect is covering the need for inpatient beds for people temporarily dependent on professional care - whether during or after an acute illness, in case of a temporary need for intensive care, after an inpatient intervention in a central hospital, or for end-of-life support. This is made possible thanks to the Sonnwendlig short-term and transitional care.

For our team, we are looking for a registered nurse HF starting from 1 December 2026 or by agreement

Your tasks

• Responsibility for the entire care process, including conducting a global assessment and care planning with continuous evaluation
• Experience in palliative care
• Management of demanding care and support for patients and their relatives
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with general practitioners, therapists, as well as other departments of the Centre de santé d'Appenzell
• Quality assurance and continuous development of care
• Responsibility for the implementation of technical care measures
• Active development and implementation of concepts

What we expect

• Completed training as a registered nurse HF
• Professional experience in the field of long-term care is an advantage
• Communicative and decisive person, who enjoys contact with elderly people
• Pleasure in working autonomously
• Good knowledge of German
• Good IT skills (experience with BESA is an advantage)
