Your mission

• Take care of and accompany daily children and young people aged 4 to 16 in a securing, structuring and benevolent framework, taking into account their needs and their development
• Guarantee their physical and psychic safety as well as their health by ensuring the permanent creation of a stimulating atmosphere adapted to their age promoting their autonomy
• Design, develop and implement, in collaboration with the educational team and the residential home manager, individualized educational projects promoting their cognitive, emotional, social and physical development
• Welcome and accompany parents in their parental function in an approach centered on the needs of the child
• Participate in the analysis of complex situations and in the implementation of adapted and evolving educational actions
• Collaborate intensely with network partners, in particular placement services and courts and create new partnerships
• Accompany and supervise the activity of interns and students

Your profile

• Training as a HES or ES childhood educator, psychologist, early childhood nurse or title deemed equivalent
• For foreign titles, SEFRI recognition
• Confirmed professional experience of at least 10 years with children and young people presenting difficulties in their development, their learning, their emotional or behavioral regulation
• Ability to understand and manage complex situations, conflict resolution and negotiation
• Empathic approach and sensitivity to child protection
• Agile personality with a collaborative spirit appreciating teamwork and promoting entrepreneurship
• Solid knowledge of the problems encountered during childhood and adolescence, notably traumatic, developmental and learning disorders, emotional and behavioral regulation difficulties, and risky behaviors
• Ability to develop a reflexive action on professional practice
• Availability for irregular hours during the day, night and weekends
• Driver's license mandatory
