Our Puidoux site, which has 150 employees, is a strategic supplier of high-precision metal tubes and components for medical devices. In a context of growth and strong regulatory requirements, we are strengthening our quality team. We are looking for a production technician ready to play a key role in the technical mastery of our process and to support our production teams on a daily basis. Your mission ------------- Ensure the technical mastery of the drawing process in order to guarantee the compliance and quality of manufacturing, while providing technical expertise directly on the ground for settings, complex manufacturing, and problem-solving. The production technician works within the production teams, in close collaboration with the Team Leader, supervision, and engineering. As a true technical reference on the ground, they contribute to the development of employee skills as well as the continuous improvement of the process. Previous experience in drawing is an asset, but not indispensable. Above all, we are looking for a person with a solid technical base, a good understanding of industrial processes, and a real aptitude for adjustment and problem-solving. Specific training in the drawing process will be provided internally. Your responsibilities -------------------- * Guarantee the smooth technical progress of drawing operations and the compliance of tubes with dimensional, mechanical, and surface state requirements. * Set up machines and adjust drawing parameters, particularly for complex or sensitive manufacturing. * Use the calculation tools necessary for defining drawing parameters and choosing appropriate tooling. * Define, adapt, and optimize drawing recipes based on products and results obtained. * Identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems related to the process and ensure their escalation when necessary. * Participate in cause analyses, trials, and improvement actions with the relevant teams. * Provide direct technical support to production on manufacturing requiring a higher level of mastery. * Train and support employees on settings, best practices, and working methods. * Collaborate closely with the Team Leader, supervision, engineering, and production teams. * Ensure the accuracy and updating of technical documentation. Your profile ------------ * CFC in a technical field or equivalent training. * Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical function in an industrial environment, ideally as a technician, mechanic-setter, or operator-setter. * Good mastery of machine setting and good understanding of manufacturing processes. * Comfort with production parameters, technical data, and calculation tools. * Ability to analyze and solve technical problems in a structured manner. * Rigor, autonomy, team spirit, and ability to transmit knowledge. * Fluent French. Hours -------- Position in 2x8 shift, with an initial training period in day shift.
