YOUR TASKS

• Care of patients during all operations with regional or general anesthesia
• Implementation and monitoring of patients in the operating room
• Management of emergency situations
• Independent and proper preparation, operation, and maintenance of medical devices
• Co-responsibility for a smooth flow in the surgical program
• Collaboration with the anesthesiologists

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree as a Dipl. Nursing Professional, Bachelor of Science in Nursing FH, or via a recognized foreign diploma
• At least 24 months of professional experience in a Swiss acute care hospital
• Taking on responsibility as well as being mentally and physically resilient

OUR OFFER In our modernly equipped OR center, around 8,500 procedures are performed annually in the specialist areas of orthopedics, general and spinal surgery, gynecology/obstetrics, visceral surgery, and urology. Practical training takes place in all specialist areas, as well as in the endoscopy center. As part of external internships, you will gain insight into the areas of pediatric anesthesia, heart/thorax surgery, and major visceral surgery. The modularly structured theoretical instruction is completed at the Berner Bildungszentrum für Pflege. During the two-year training, you will be competently supported and accompanied by our vocational trainers and the nursing and medical team until graduation.
