Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily maintenance operations on the campus site
• Prepare and communicate technician schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and site coverage
• Lead, coach and support the maintenance team, fostering high performance and continuous development
• Assign, monitor and follow up on maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and quality
• Ensure the efficient execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Supervise external contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with quality, safety and contractual requirements
• Provide technical advice and guarantee the reliability of the campus infrastructure, equipment and security systems
• Manage maintenance-related purchases, inventories and asset lifecycle planning
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports and documentation, ensuring visibility for management
• Keep the Maintenance Manager informed of ongoing activities, issues, risks and operational developments
• Support emergency response activities, coordination of insurance claims and participation in on-call rotations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization and implementation of maintenance best practices

Profile and experiences:

• Technical qualification in building maintenance, electrical, mechanical systems or related field (CFC or equivalent preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in hospitality, education or multi-site environments
• Previous experience in team supervision or contractor coordination strongly desired
• Good understanding of Swiss safety standards and building regulations
• Solid knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, access control, fire safety, emergency systems)
• Ability to plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Budget awareness and cost control mindset
• Comfortable with the use of maintenance tracking tools and basic administrative systems (purchase order management, reporting, Excel)
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Team-oriented leadership with the ability to give clear instructions and ensure follow-up on execution
• Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
