Supply Chain Expert (100%) (m/f/d)

In this role, you will coordinate product- and packaging-related changes as well as new introductions throughout their supply chain lifecycle. You will plan and control the associated change activities and, together with local and global stakeholders, ensure that changes are successfully implemented while taking into account temporal, regulatory, and operational requirements.

In doing so, you will independently undertake demanding coordination tasks, participate in supply chain and life cycle projects, and act as an important interface between Planning and other internal and external partners. At the same time, you will contribute to the continuous further development of existing processes and ways of working.

Competencies and responsibilities

• Coordination of changes and new introductions of products and packaging materials in cooperation with local and global CSL organizations.
• Planning and initiation of change requests as well as coordination and follow-up of the resulting activities with Planning and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring the timely implementation of changes to packaging materials, taking into account regulatory and operational requirements.
• Independent processing and coordination of life cycle management activities for assigned products and subject areas.
• Participation in supply chain and life cycle management projects as well as taking responsibility for defined work packages and smaller projects.
• Coordination of different stakeholders, dependencies, and activities and ensuring a transparent flow of information within the respective projects and changes.
• Communication with internal and external customers as well as CSL organizations and processing of product- and process-related inquiries, for example regarding first-time deliveries, changes, and special cases.
• Coordination of the shipment of registration and test material as well as product and packaging material samples to authorities, customers, and other CSL organizations.
• Identification of improvement potential as well as definition and further development of organizational workflows and processes within the area of responsibility.
• Support in solving more complex product- or process-related questions and active cooperation with the relevant supply chain interfaces.
• Ensuring structured documentation and follow-up of the responsible activities in a GxP-regulated environment.

Qualifications and professional experience

• Completed higher education or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field; a comparable qualification with corresponding professional experience is also welcome.
• Several years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain, Product Care, Life Cycle Management, Change Management, Logistics, or a comparable coordinative environment.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated environment as well as a good understanding of GxP or quality systems.
• Experience in the coordination of changes, product introductions, or cross-departmental projects is an advantage.
• Strong process understanding and the ability to coordinate more complex workflows, dependencies, and different stakeholders in a structured manner.
• Independent, structured, and proactive way of working with a good eye for detail and strong implementation orientation.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills as well as enjoyment of working in a cross-functional and international environment.
• Ability to set priorities and maintain a reliable overview even with several parallel activities.
• Fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing.

• As a Supply Chain Expert, you will work at a central interface within our supply chain and accompany product changes and new introductions from planning to implementation. In doing so, you combine Product Care, Life Cycle Management, and Change Coordination and work together with various local and global functions.
