OSAD Helvetia is a growing outpatient care network, active throughout French-speaking Valais and the canton of Vaud. We offer a complete range of services including office-based care, home care, collection centers, medical transport, as well as practical assistance, monitoring, and home presence services.

Authorized by the competent health authorities, our organization places the quality of care, proximity, and personalized support at the heart of its mission. Having been committed during the COVID-19 pandemic through the implementation of a testing center, OSAD Helvetia is now continuing its development to meet the increasing needs of the population.

In order to strengthen our liaison team, we are looking for a:

Versatile Nurse (60 to 80 %)

Your mission:

As a versatile nurse, you will ensure comprehensive and high-quality patient care, in close collaboration with managers and the coordination service, care referents, doctors, families, and various partners in the health network.

Your activity combines nursing care, coordination, biological sampling, patient follow-up, and medico-administrative tasks, in an approach centered on the needs of each patient.

Your main responsibilities

1. Patient care and management

Provide outpatient and home nursing care, adapted to the state of health and the complexity of situations.
Ensure global patient follow-up and the updating of files, treatment plans, and care plans.
Ensure the correct application of medical prescriptions.
React appropriately to changes in the patients' state of health.
Guarantee the continuity, safety, and quality of care.

1. Biological sampling and technical care

Perform biological sampling (blood, urine, and other samples) according to medical prescriptions.
Prepare the patient and the necessary material for sampling.
Strictly respect hygiene, asepsis, and safety rules.
Ensure the identification, labeling, traceability, and routing of samples to laboratories.
Guarantee double-checking during any treatment modification, particularly for IV treatments.

1. Coordination and liaison

Coordinate care with treating physicians, patients, families, and various health professionals.
Ensure liaison with care establishments and external partners.
Prepare and coordinate admissions, consultations, hospitalizations, and returns home.
Ensure complete and fluid transmission of information between the various stakeholders.
Participate in the follow-up of OPAS prescriptions and exchanges with insurers.
Ensure regular follow-up with doctors and partners involved in the care.

1. Planning and organization

Organize and plan services, appointments, and interventions.
Manage priorities based on patient needs and institutional directives.
Ensure compliance with care timelines and response to requests.
Participate in the organization and distribution of activities within the team.
Contribute to the efficient and optimal use of resources.

1. File management and medico-administrative tasks

Guarantee the maintenance of patient files and the traceability of information.
Document care, transmissions, and coordination actions.
Prepare and transmit medical files with all required documents.
Ensure communications via telephone, e-mail, mail, and internal communication tools.
Participate in patient reception and the orientation of requests.
Perform the administrative tasks necessary for the smooth running of care.

1. Quality, safety, and development of professional practices

Guarantee compliance with hygiene, asepsis, and safety standards.
Participate in infection prevention and patient safety.
Supervise the quality of transmissions and care services.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of care quality.
Participate in the development and harmonization of professional practices.
Contribute to the service project in collaboration with the manager and the care coordinator.
Participate in knowledge sharing, support, and the evaluation of team members' skills.
Support the care manager and the coordinator in their missions.

1. Logistics and resource management

Participate in the management of stocks of medicines, medical devices, and consumables.
Ensure follow-up of storage conditions for medicines and equipment.
Perform temperature checks of the refrigerator and premises according to current procedures.
Ensure the availability of material necessary for the activity.
Participate in an efficient and responsible use of the organization's resources.
Your profile

HES nursing degree or a title deemed equivalent and recognized in Switzerland.
Professional experience in outpatient care, home care, or a similar environment.
Mastery of nursing care and biological sampling techniques.
Strong sense of responsibility and patient safety.
Excellent organizational, coordination, and prioritization skills.
Autonomy, rigor, and the ability to manage varied situations.
Interpersonal skills and excellent communication with patients, families, and health professionals.
Team spirit, flexibility, and adaptability.
Good command of standard IT tools.
Driver's license and personal vehicle, an asset for home activities.
