Social Worker at 80%

The social cohesion service works to strengthen and develop solidarity and proximity in the Municipality. Within a small multidisciplinary team, the social service provides social and administrative support and offers individual accompaniment to residents.

Reporting to the head of the service, you accompany residents in various administrative procedures, collaborate closely with the Geneva socio-sanitary network, and ensure the management of occasional social assistance benefits offered or supported by the Municipality.

You also participate in the organization of certain community projects or actions of the service, particularly for children, youth, and seniors.

Requested profile:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in social work or an equivalent title.
• Demonstrate at least 3 years of experience as a social worker in Switzerland or Geneva, particularly within a municipal, state, or associative administration.
• Have a very good knowledge of the Swiss social insurance system and the Geneva socio-sanitary network.
• Be able to demonstrate versatility within a small team.
• Be able to work in an organized manner, independently and in collaboration.
• Have a sense of public service, interpersonal skills, tact, and discretion.
• Have a strong team spirit and ease of communication.
• Master written and spoken French and be able to write independently.
• Master common IT tools.
