Project Manager Plastic Applications Industry & Consumer

You lead technical customer projects for the development of plastic solutions for industrial and consumer goods applications and advise on material selection and injection molding processing.

Tasks

• Leading projects for the development of plastic solutions with customers from industry and consumer goods or mechanical engineering
• Technical advice on material selection, component and material analysis as well as injection molding processing
• Conducting tests and sampling in the injection molding technical center and at customer sites
• Developing technical fundamentals, feasibility analyses and cost calculations
• Collaboration in cross-functional teams with research, production, material analytics and sales
• Market observation to recognize new trends and technologies
• Giving specialist presentations and conducting internal training sessions

Profile

• Completed studies in plastic technology, materials technology or mechanical engineering
• Professional experience in injection molding technology and design of technical plastic components
• Decisive, entrepreneurial personality with goal orientation
• Commitment and willingness to learn as well as initiative and flexibility
• Good English skills in spoken and written form
