Dental Assistant

-Support of the dentist in performing dental procedures, such as examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions and root canal treatments, crown and bridge work

• Reception work (main area)
• Performing X-ray images
• Implementation of the practice's hygiene concept
• Reprocessing and sterilization of instruments
• Maintaining an accurate inventory of supplies and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with infection control and sterilization regulations in the practice

Requirements:

• Completed training as a dental assistant or comparable training (medical practice assistant / MPA)
• Experience in dental assisting (advantageous)
• Knowledge in handling dentist software systems (ZaWin) and X-ray machines (small X-ray and OPG) is advantageous, but not a requirement
• Ability to deal well with patients and help them feel comfortable during their dentist visit
• Understanding of the infection control and sterilization regulations in the practice
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing requirements
