Your contribution

• Verify the relevance of communication data according to security policy objectives and analyze its content
• Supplement analysis results with information from publicly accessible sources
• Process acquired knowledge in the form of written reports
• Independently handle assigned dossiers and develop them proactively
• Actively contribute to the optimization of existing processes, methods, and analysis techniques and the development of new ones

What distinguishes you

• University degree or equivalent higher education
• Strong analytical reasoning skills and excellent writing skills
• Particular interest in issues concerning security policy and the armed forces of East Asia
• Significant ability to understand technical connections as well as skills in the fields of cyber, telecommunications, IT, and/or data science
• Good active knowledge of a second official language and excellent knowledge of English. Knowledge of Mandarin (B2--C1) is an advantage

In summary

You will work independently within an analysis team on pre-established topics. In a dynamic context, you will contribute to the acquisition of relevant information from the profile of intelligence activities based on communication data in favor of Switzerland's security policy. You work with precision, you like to approach new technologies, and even in frantic situations, you know how to maintain an overview.

The position is limited from 1 January to 30 June 2027.
