Area of Responsibility

Independent management of operational procurement from requirement determination to binding order placement
Ensuring timely material supply through consistent monitoring of open orders and external manufacturing orders
Conducting price negotiations with suppliers as well as agreeing upon and reviewing economic procurement conditions
Development and management of long-term procurement agreements taking into account required quantities and ordering intervals
Further development of existing purchasing processes with a focus on economic efficiency and security of supply
Control and processing of inventory discrepancies as well as clarification of missing materials
Recording and processing of supplier offers, order confirmations, and relevant procurement data in the ERP system
Updating supplier data and undertaking supplementary administrative activities within purchasing

Desired Profile

Completed basic commercial training with further professional training in the purchasing area
Confident handling of ERP applications as well as very good user knowledge in MS Office
Stylistically confident communication in German and good English skills, both oral and written
Strong understanding of procurement processes and the economic connections in operational purchasing
Independent, precise, and reliable way of working with high quality awareness
Quick comprehension, networked thinking, and the ability to efficiently coordinate different requirements
High commitment, flexibility, and enjoyment of working in a team
Several years of purchasing experience within a manufacturing company is an advantage
