Deputy Team Leader Hospitality & Housekeeping 100% (m/f/d)

As Deputy Team Leader Hospitality & Housekeeping, you will support our team leadership in the organization and management of the housekeeping team while also actively rolling up your sleeves. Together with your team, you will ensure cleanliness and order throughout our entire hotel and gastronomy operation and maintain an overview even with many different areas and large cleaning surfaces.

Deputy Team Leader Hospitality & Housekeeping 100% (m/f/d)

Your tasks:
You ensure cleanliness and order in the entire operation together with the team leadership – from hotel rooms and lounges to restaurant, event, and banquet rooms, as well as showroom, staircases, and other public areas
You actively work in the day-to-day business and personally undertake cleaning work in the various areas of our large house
You support the team leadership in the management and organization of a team of around 8 employees and assign daily tasks sensibly
You control cleaning quality and work execution and ensure that our cleanliness standards are met
You support work and duty planning as well as the control of working hours
You undertake various administrative tasks, in particular orders, inventory management, and organizational work
During holidays and absences of the team leadership, you take over the deputy role and lead the team independently
You work in a 7-day operation and in normal operations are deployed as deputy team leadership approx. 2 days per week
What you bring:
You have completed training as Fachfrau/Fachmann Hauswirtschaft EFZ, Hotelfachfrau/Hotelfachmann EFZ, or a comparable qualification
You have several years of practical experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or cleaning
Ideally, you possess initial leadership experience and enjoy guiding, supporting, and assigning employees
You enjoy working actively, rolling up your sleeves, and are not too good for cleaning work
You have a good eye for cleanliness, order, and quality and value carefully executed work
You work independently, reliably, and organized and maintain an overview even with many different tasks
You have good German skills and present yourself to employees in a friendly, clear, and determined manner
You are flexible and resilient and bring the willingness for a 7-day operation with irregular working hours
