The two political municipalities of Bütschwil-Ganterschwil and Lütisburg are responsible for school social work in the primary schools and the Oberstufenschule within the municipal area. We are looking for, as of 1 December 2026 or by arrangement, a

School Social Worker for the Oberstufe Bütschwil-Ganterschwil-Lütisburg ##

Your area of responsibility essentially includes the following areas:

• Counseling and support for students, teachers, school management, as well as legal guardians
• Intervention in classes during crises and conflicts
• Prevention
• Networking and cooperation with external specialist agencies and institutions
• Administrative and organizational tasks

We expect:

• Completed training in Social Work or Social Pedagogy
• CAS Schulsozialarbeit, or the willingness to undergo training
• Professional experience in dealing with children and legal guardians desired
• Competence in counseling, prevention, and crisis interventions
• Empathic personality with high communicative skills
• Very good organizational skills and independent, systemic way of working
• Commitment, ability to work in a team, flexibility, and openness
• Mobile with own vehicle
