To strengthen our team in the bus production assembly in the Operations area, we are looking for motivated specialists with know-how in vehicle mechanics for PDI work at the end of the manufacturing process of our electric buses. As a PDI specialist for our innovative electric buses, you play a decisive role in the production chain. Your task is to ensure that every bus that leaves our production halls is in perfect condition and meets the highest safety standards. Your tasks

• Carrying out all "Pre-Delivery Inspection" work on our electric buses (according to specifications from the development department)
• Commissioning of tachographs and the RAG
• Testing and commissioning of the brakes under WABCO system specifications incl. creation of test protocols for official bodies
• Measurement and adjustment of the complete steering geometry and the drive motors
• Performing turning circle measurements
• Calibration of the bus joints and the steering angle sensors
• Planning the work to be carried out in consultation with the assembly management
• Design and implementation of sensible time management for the implementation of the PDI deadlines
• Driving articulated and bi-articulated buses during vehicle transfers and shifts
• Assisting in the optimization of work processes and workplaces

Our requirements

• Completed vocational training as an Automotive Mechatronics Technician specializing in commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery mechanic or construction machinery mechanic
• Driving authorization for heavy commercial vehicles (category C) or willingness to complete the driving test (costs covered by the employer)
• Strong maker mentality
• Independent way of working and handling of sensitive equipment
