Head of Technical Office – Civil Engineering (M/F) – 100%
Your responsibilities:
Ensure the technical leadership and development of a team composed of civil engineers, draftsmen, and constructors
Organize, plan, and coordinate the activities of the technical office
Distribute projects and various tasks within the team according to skills and priorities
Accompany and support employees in solving complex technical problems
Participate in the development of technical solutions and execution methods adapted to different projects
Provide your technical expertise during the study, calculation, and project preparation phases
Ensure the follow-up of ongoing projects and control the progress of planning work
Guarantee the quality of calculations, technical studies, and plans produced by the team
Ensure compliance with norms, quality standards, and regulatory requirements applicable in Switzerland
Ensure close coordination with the different internal departments, notably project management, commercial teams, and operational services
Actively participate in technical meetings and exchanges between the different specialists
Perform occasional checks to guarantee the quality and conformity of the work performed
Identify possibilities for improvement of working methods and internal processes
Actively participate in the digitalization of the technical office and the integration of new technologies
Contribute to the development of the technical and human skills of your team Your profile:
Degree in Civil Engineering HES, EPF, university or training deemed equivalent
Orientation ideally related to structures or construction
Minimum 5 years of professional experience desired in the planning and realization of construction projects
Solid experience in managing technically demanding projects
An initial experience in team leadership or a real motivation to evolve towards a managerial function
Very good knowledge of construction practices in Switzerland
Good mastery of the main SIA norms applicable to your activity
Solid skills in calculation, design, and technical analysis
Good mastery of technical software used in the construction field
Experience with Tekla Structures, Cubus or comparable tools constitutes an advantage
BIM knowledge also constitutes an asset
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Analytical mind and strong solution orientation
Ability to make decisions and assume responsibilities
Authentic, communicative personality capable of uniting a team
Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to participate actively in the development of the company
Ability to work effectively with different internal and external interlocutors
