3D Inspection Technician (M/F)

Mission

As part of this role, reporting to the Quality department of our Cadrans Flückiger site in St- Imier, you will implement 3D inspection procedures by defining sequences and programming inspection equipment. You will be the guarantor of the dimensional compliance of the inspected dials. In parallel, you will contribute to the maintenance of the measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Create automatic 3D contact and optical inspection programs to guarantee product compliance: industrialization, series life, and measurement for product/process analysis.
• Define and validate inspection sequences in connection with project teams.
• Supervise, support, and train 3D users in the production workshops.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of measurement methods: design of tooling, monitoring and maintenance of measuring machines, definition of measurement strategies.
• Utilize and interpret inspection results (histograms, basic statistics).

Profile sought

• ES Technician Diploma in Microtechnology or an equivalent deemed training.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D programming and measurements, with and without contact, ideally in the watchmaking field in the dial sector.
• Mastery of 3D programming software, ideally knowledge of OGP, FoxFlash, and Mesure X.
• Excellent skills in reading plans, particularly in GD&T (GPS).
• Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Good knowledge of quality tools and production monitoring statistics.
• Very good visualization of parts in space.
• Programming logic indispensable (Algorithm).
• Ability to adapt to technical and industrial evolution.
