Position Brief Overview

550 employees, responsible for the production of high-quality infant formula for domestic and foreign markets, shape the dynamic, highly automated working environment of the Fabrik Konolfingen.

Due to an upcoming retirement of a long-standing employee, we are looking for you, as a dedicated personality for the end packaging area, within the Engineering department.

Interesting, varied, and challenging tasks await you, in which safety, quality, delivery readiness, and cost awareness are the priorities. As a maintenance mechanic in shift operation, you and your colleagues will contribute significantly to ensuring that our production lines are always in the best condition and that our operational departments have all the prerequisites available to carry out production according to the highest standards. With curiosity, commitment, and team spirit, you will enrich our team while undertaking the following diverse and exciting tasks:

A day in the life of a Maintenance Technician: Mechanics

• Maintenance of the diverse and modern production facilities:
• Troubleshooting
• Maintenance/inspections
• Planned repairs
• Optimizations (CIP)
• Performing on-call service
• Participation in specific working groups
• Documentation of maintenance work
• Recognizing, improving, and correcting technical weaknesses
• Creating work instructions and training technicians and production employees
• Clean and orderly way of working

What makes you successful

• Completed vocational training as a mechanical engineer, polymechanic, or comparable training
• Some years of experience as an industrial plant mechanic is an advantage
• Resilient, reliable, and team-oriented personality
• Independent, structured, and exact way of working
• Level-headed and reliable nature
• Initiative and a high degree of responsibility
• Knowledge of MS-Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience in SAP or willingness to acquire it
• Permit for restricted installations (NIV-15), or we offer the possibility to complete this.
