Process Development & Industrialization Engineer

Your area of responsibility #### In the Industry Segment of HUBER + SUHNER, we develop and manufacture innovative high-frequency cables and connectivity solutions for demanding applications worldwide. For the further expansion of manufacturing technologies, we are looking for a technically savvy and innovative personality to help shape our next generation of production processes. You will assume a central role in the development, industrialization, and continuous optimization of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies for the production of high-frequency cables. You will accompany new products and technologies from the concept phase to stable serial production and make a significant contribution to quality, efficiency, and innovation. • Developing, industrializing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for high-frequency cables and their components • Planning, designing, and realizing new production equipment, fixtures, and automation solutions • Developing machine and equipment concepts as well as creating specification sheets for internal and external partners • Conducting technology scouting to identify new manufacturing methods, materials, and automation possibilities • Leading and participating in interdisciplinary project teams from concept development to successful commissioning • Ensuring the successful transfer of new products and processes into serial production • Analyzing and sustainably solving technical challenges in the areas of process capability, quality, productivity, and costs • Supporting production with technical questions, complaints, quality problems, and life-cycle support topics • Close cooperation with product development, production, quality management, purchasing, external mechanical engineers, and suppliers • Driving digitalization topics as well as data-based process optimization Your profile #### • Technical basic training with a completed engineering degree (FH, Bachelor or Master), preferably in mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science, plastics technology, or a comparable field of study • Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment as well as in product or process development, industrialization, or equipment development • Experience in the development of machine and equipment concepts as well as in the creation of specification sheets • Experience in project management or in participating in interdisciplinary development and industrialization projects • Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as enjoyment in collaborating with a wide variety of specialist departments • Ability to communicate complex technical contexts in an understandable and convincing manner • Independent, structured, and quality-oriented way of working with a strong hands-on mentality • High level of initiative, innovative spirit, and enthusiasm for new technologies • Good German and English skills in speaking and writing • Knowledge in data analysis, digitalization, or Industry 4.0 applications is an advantage • Experience in the field of high-frequency technology, cable technologies, or continuous manufacturing is desirable Why HUBER + SUHNER? #### • Extensive training and further education opportunities • Up to 6 weeks of vacation for a balanced work-life balance • Modern staff restaurant with attractive catering options • Contributions to fitness and health activities • Participation in the Halbtax subscription • Above-average pension fund benefits and attractive employment conditions We look forward to hearing from you! #### You will receive feedback from us as soon as possible.
