Official Specialist Assistant Dept. Animal Welfare / Problematic Dogs

• Varied and responsible activity in official animal welfare with a direct contribution to animal welfare
• Independent enforcement of animal welfare legislation in the assigned businesses and specialist areas
• Versatile field assignments as well as close cooperation with different stakeholder groups
• Preparation of reports, decrees, and other legal documents as part of a modern enforcement authority
• Collaboration in other exciting task areas of the veterinary service and the opportunity to specifically apply, deepen, and further develop your expertise
• Completed basic training related to animal husbandry (Landwirt/in EFZ) or in enforcement service (Polizist/in EFZ)
• Certificate of proficiency as an official specialist assistant animal welfare / primary production / meat or the willingness to acquire this
• Professional experience in the enforcement of one or more areas of veterinary medicine
• Practical experience in handling livestock and pets is an advantage
• Analytical and networked thinking
• High resilience, flexibility, assertiveness, and strong communication skills
• Driver's license Cat. B and availability of a private vehicle
• Demanding activity with scope for design
• Collaboration in a motivated, interdisciplinary, and experienced team
